At Jeffrey Burgers, every meal is handcrafted fresh to order using premium ingredients. Because of the nature of our food preparation and the perishable nature of our menu items, all sales are considered final once an order has been placed and confirmed.
However, we understand that mistakes or issues may occasionally occur. This policy outlines the specific conditions under which refunds, credits, or replacements may be offered.
2. Non-Refundable Items
Due to health, safety, and food quality standards, the following are non-refundable:

Orders placed and confirmed through our website or in-store.

Orders not picked up within the designated time window.

Items that were prepared correctly based on the order details.

Food returned after being picked up or consumed in part or full.

Customer dissatisfaction due to taste, texture, or personal preference.
3. Eligible Refunds or Replacements
Refunds or replacements will only be considered in the following cases:

Incorrect Order — You received the wrong item(s) compared to your order confirmation.

Quality Concern — There was an issue with the preparation, cooking, or packaging of your order that does not meet our quality standards.

In all cases, the issue must be reported within 24 hours of your pickup time.

5. Refund or Resolution Options
Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we may, at our discretion, offer one of the following resolutions:

Replacement Order: A new order prepared at no additional cost, scheduled for pickup at a mutually convenient time.

Partial Refund: A credit or refund applied to the payment method used during checkout.

Full Refund: Only in exceptional circumstances, if the order was not fulfilled or prepared in error.

Store Credit: A digital or paper voucher equivalent to the amount in question, valid for future purchases at Jeffrey Burgers.
Refunds may take 3–7 business days to appear in your account depending on your payment provider.
6. Pickup Policy

Timeliness: Orders must be picked up during the time selected at checkout.

Holding Period: We hold all orders for a 15-minute grace period after the scheduled pickup time. After that, food quality can no longer be guaranteed.

Unclaimed Orders: Any order not picked up after the grace period will be considered abandoned and no refund will be issued.

Verification: For security reasons, you may be asked to provide your name or order number when picking up your order.
7. Online Ordering Errors
If an error occurs during your online transaction (such as double payment or system failure), please notify us immediately at contact@jeffreyburgers.com.
We will verify the transaction with our payment processor and issue a refund or credit as appropriate.
8. Third-Party Orders
If your order was placed through a third-party platform (e.g., Grubhub, DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.), please refer to their individual refund policies.
We cannot directly issue refunds for orders made through third-party systems, but we will assist in verifying your claim with the delivery provider when possible.
9. Special Events, Catering, and Large Orders
For large or special event orders, cancellations or modifications must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Orders canceled after this time may be subject to partial charges or no refund, depending on preparation status and incurred costs.
10. Food Safety Disclaimer
Once an order has left the restaurant premises, Jeffrey Burgers is not responsible for food handling, storage, or consumption practices.
Refunds or replacements will not be issued for items improperly stored, reheated, or handled after pickup.
11. Policy Changes
Jeffrey Burgers reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Pickup Policy at any time.
All changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our online ordering system constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
